HOUSE RULES
This cabin is our favorite place to spend time. We are excited to share it with you. It is still a little bit of a work in progress, in some areas we are still making improvements. To ensure all our guests enjoy the cabin, we have the following rules:
1. NO PARTIES and NO SMOKING IN THE CABIN - The cabin and the surrounding woods are put at risk of fire and odor. An additional cleaning fee of up to $500 may be assessed if you have a party or someone in your group smokes in the cabin.
2. WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS. During summer insects are active and a normal part of a wooded setting. We perform regular pest control to minimize insects inside the cabin, but this can not keep away all pests. You may see insects in the home or wildlife on the property, including but not limited to: birds, bees, small harmless scorpions, wasps, bats, mosquitoes, spiders, snakes, fireflies, butterflies, lady bugs, ants, mice, lizards, deer, turkey, black bears, flying squirrels, etc. This is normal. Wildlife encounters may happen and are at your own risk. We are not liable to compensate for any encounters during your stay.
YOUR ROLE WITH WILDLIFE:
Please help deter unwanted wildlife. Close doors and windows when not in use. Do not leave food or trash outside. Place trash in the outside bin.
3. TRASH
Dispose of trash at the end of your stay. Place ALL trash in the provided plastic bags in the outside bins securely closed. The bin are located to the right as you go out the kitchen door. County regulations require all trash to be bagged.
4. CAMERAS and INTERNET
For security purposes and to confirm your check in, we have exterior cameras facing the parking and entry areas. For your privacy the cameras will be turned off once you arrive and during your stay. For your safety and the safety of the cabin is it important that cameras and internet remain online during your stay. If either of these are disabled by you or your guests you will be asked to leave with no refund.
5. LEAVE IT AS YOU FOUND IT. Relax and enjoy your stay. We know things happen. Spills and other small accidents are a normal part of a stay. The cleaning fee covers a typical cleaning; including small messes and spills. Our cleaners will mop floors, vacuum carpets, wash linens, service the hot tub, and clean the kitchen and bathrooms. Please note this fee is not a license to trash the cabin. If there are issues that require significant additional cleaning you will be asked to pay these additional cleaning costs.
You are on vacation, we are not asking to you leave the cabin spotless. It will simply help everyone enjoy the cabin if...
- you get it out, put it away.
- you break it, replace it.
- you turn it on, turn it off.
- you spill it, clean it up.
- you get the idea :-)
6. MOST IMPORTANTLY… Enjoy your stay!
